As a partner at boutique corporate and commercial law firm Hudson Gavin Martin, I advise clients in NZ and overseas on the regulation of new and emerging technologies, data governance, data security and privacy. As part of my practice, I advise on AI applications, including on the legal and ethical challenges they pose. My work in this area has given me a unique perspective on AI and the opportunities and challenges the technology poses for NZ.
