It’s not just about cheating: critical perspectives on ChatGPT
In all the hype about OpenAI’s chatbot, educationalists have tended to worry about its potential for cheating and how to defeat that. However, there are much bigger implications – and they’ll be explored in this online seminar, which seeks to foster more objective assessments, raising questions such as “What does this new technology and others like it mean for the future of teaching and learning”?
A range of experienced speakers will engage with this and related questions (including ethics) – and then participants will be invited to join the discussion.
