Introducing Technology for Emissions Reduction
New Zealand has a long road ahead to meet its emissions targets, and technology is crucial for a greener future. ClimateTech is also a substantial growth opportunity, with a global market valued at $20 billion and projected to reach $100 billion by 2030.
Join us in Auckland for the launch of a new report Technology for Emissions Reduction – a Framework for Aotearoa’s Climate Technology Roadmap. The aim of this report is to ensure that technology is integrated into New Zealand’s climate change planning, so that Aotearoa can harness the full benefits technology can bring to the climate change challenge.
Discover the importance of tech in driving emissions reduction efforts and its potential to enable Aotearoa New Zealand’s climate strategy. Explore how this framework aligns the tech sector’s growth with emissions reduction goals, paving the way for a sustainable future.
Join us and gain valuable insights from the Hon Simon Watts, Minister of Climate Change, Spark’s Sustainability Director, Leela Ashford, NZTech’s Sustainability board members Mitchell Pham, Mark Thomas and NZTech’s CEO Graeme Muller.
