Hosted in partnership with AUT, the Aotearoa AI Awards recognise individuals, teams and organisations working in the field of artificial intelligence in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our Awards acknowledge leadership, originality, and practical outcomes in the research, development, and application of AI — celebrating work that makes a measurable difference in the real world and brings responsible AI to the forefront.

Finalists will be announced during the Aotearoa AI Summit, 8–9 September 2026 and winners will be announced at the Aotearoa AI Awards Ceremony on 18 November 2026.
