31 May- 7 June 2026 (final dates tbc)
We are excited to be working with NZCC and to confirm that the mission will be going ahead. Expressions of interest have now closed, and we are currently reviewing submissions. We will be in touch with successful participants shortly.
China is moving fast on agentic AI, robotics, and real-world deployment at scale. This fact-finding mission is a chance to see what is happening on the ground, beyond the headlines, and bring practical insights back to New Zealand.
Join Graeme Muller, CEO of Tech New Zealand (Head of Delegation), on this mission to China organised by the New Zealand China Council (NZCC) in association with AI Forum NZ and Tech New Zealand.
What you will get from the mission
- See full-scale agentic AI in action (real deployments, not just demos)
- See how AI is giving robots intelligence and spatial awareness
- Understand what is coming next, from research through to prototypes and implementation
- Take away practical insights for New Zealand (opportunities, risks, and collaboration)
- Meet leading organisations across academia, government, and industry
Limited places
We have an exclusive, limited offer of 10 seats available free of charge, with the delegation likely capped at 12 people.
